No Recon tickets are $90 bucks and aren't fix it tickets unless your car is deemed unsafe for the road. Theres lots of people that just say screw it i'll pay the ticket and not deal with recon. You have a 6% leeway when they meter your windows so as long as it meters at 29% or above you're safe.

i work at waikiki hotel.. and i dont get pull over for recon( cops are cool nowadays..).. but i did pull over for stupid tint..like 2times.. and had to pay 287 for it... so now i have 35% ....damn ..lol

I've personally never been pulled over in Waikiki (but I don't think i've driven through there in the Z in over a year) but I think ryan and maybe some other members (joe? not sure i remember who chimed in last time this came up) got pulled over like the second they drove into Waikiki.

My co-worker gets pulled over all the time (he lives in Waikiki).........he drives a POS, so the tickets are for stuff like seat belts, safety check, etc.

Frankly, the scenery and the weather are MUCH nicer than where I'm from, so even without going off base yet, I can definitely say I like it here...

Just waiting for the Z to get here, then I'll start venturing out, into the world...

hope you got that rust proofing thing that they spray under your Z... lol cuz the salt water takes a toll on cars down here lol

damn... I was told I didn't need it... Was told the Z's undercarriage was already sprayed... Oh, well, guess my Z's toast...

im actually workin on base for the next 2 weeks. If you see a two tone black/gunmetal Z with advan RGII's driving around base then thats me =] hit me up! ill show you around.

Yeah, the DFAC is right across the parking lot... I stay in Mathies Hall. I thought I've seen your Z sitting out there a few times... on the way to chow...
