k so going to work this morning i opened my trunk put my bag in there ran back into the house...came back and now my trunk wont close????what the hell happend within that short 2 mins???idk but i looked at it and it seems like the latch isnt holding down to keep the trunk completly closed(on to the hook thing off the trunk)???if that makes sense...so imthinkin its the latch actuator??its a 06 350z??anyone else had that problem??

tried it again the next day...nothing...the latch wont keep it hooked.!!!

I had the same problem. It most likely didn't close completely the first time you tried to close the hatch. The "claw or hook" mechanism that holds the hatch down isn't opening properly.

Take it to the dealer, they can replace it.
