I just found a company that containerizes cars for shipment. I am getting a quote now. I will post up the info when it comes in. The companies name is Shumacher Cargo.

My RX7 arrived today as well from Ohio. No damage that I could find. It was shipped closed trailer to port, then inside the ship (no container). Horizon Lines said they wouldn't take a car that was lower than 6 inches ground clearance. I went with DAS mainland to Pasha Hawaii for the overseas part.

P.S. Shipping long distance with the "luxury" options ain't cheap. That's for sure.

If i am not mistaken pasha said 4" clearance, I am running 3" which is why I am going container. Matson wants 4.5 I believe.

I want my car!

Haven't posted officially yet, with farewells and status. Just stopped by to take a peak at the forums. Just a quick note. Picked up the Z about 3 days ago from DALLAS VPC. Original plan was to trailer it to TX. Decided to let Pasha send it on from LA to Dallas. Shipped the Z on the 3 June, Z got to San Diego on the 10th, then on to LA on the 15th, then 3-4 days to Dallas. Only thing I did was take off my rear diffuser (put in household goods) and lifted the car to its highest settings then took out the controller. Picked up the Z on the 29th, did a thorough inspection, NO DAMAGE, I mean, NONE!! drove 4 hours to SA from DALLAS, that was fun. Now, just gotta find a New House to put it in a Garage....hopefully they will except the offers. PASHA is da sheeeeeeeeit! Horizon gave me too much flack about shipping it even at the highest settings, didn't like the service they provided. So glad I went with PASHA! worries are over,

PASHA will accommodate your car. After processing it, They even let me drive it to the port to be shipped. Horizon says your car has to be 6 inches all the way around at the lowest point. Even under the car. Pasha is the way to go in my opinion. Take alot of pics.
