I attempted to shoot a Lexus IS there last weekend and got kicked out by the federal police. He said that photography isn't allowed on Navy Installations and even threatened to arrest for trespassing. Ended up shooting in the new parking structure at Ward. I seen that...I guess it was perfect timing...we was there for quite sometime...for your second shoot where was that location?

I was there for less than an hour. Spent most of the time just cruising while everyone arrived. Spent 15 minutes to setup and two cars crashed the party.

2nd location was at the new parking structure across from Borders at Ward.

Yes technically you need a photo clearance to shoot on base. Nothing with the ships in the background for sure and other sensitive materials/equipment. The better looking your camera, the more attention you're going to get. The funny thing is you go to the Arizona Memorial and you can shoot all the pics you want.

How touchy they get depends on the person that sees you. The rules change all the time.
