Default Dude... Why?

So I was driving home from work today and saw something going down Ft. Weaver Rd that made me really sad in the pants: A redline Roadster, moderately riced out (iffy rim selection, poorly fitting trunk/body work, etc) with a giant GT-R badge under the rear Nissan Hamburger. Alls I could think to myself was "seriously man? Why?..." At least I now know why the Z is slowly losing the respect it used to command on the streets. People in our community have resorted back to their Honda ways. It's a sad sad day indeed :-(

Sorry for the rant, I know lot's of ya'll couldn't care less. But I thought I'd share. Who knows, maybe he, or one of his cronies, is on this forum and can explain the reasoning behind such abominable behavior

Fair enough... But it was kinda dark and he had his brights on so I didn't get a good glance of his front kit, who knows haha. Maybe it had one of those knock-off civic style "R-34" wannabe kits. (do they even make them for the Z?)

To be honest, I don't even think it is people "reverting back." The 350z is now a car that can be had for like $12,000. That puts it a price that many kids (or just about anyone) can get. This brings a lot of people with "alternative" ideas about modifying cars. lol Like it or not, the price of the 350z is causing the car to become what the Civic Si was in 2001...

Well said! all the more reason why I can't wait to get another toy and step my game....after 7 years with this Z, it has gotten boring at times. But hey, you new Z owners, enjoy your cars and mod tastefully.

but funny how the people ricing the Z are alot older.

for instance the famous youtube video of the DB Z with all the chrome stickers and the blower on the hood was a older guy.

The GTR mustang was a older guy also.

I have seen several Zs that have been destroyed and it wasnt a 17yr old behind the wheel.

just my .02

If that doesn't happen, I'll be rolling up in the M6 real soon Keep me in the loop if anything changes Bro, I have to see the new toy.
