I guess Christmas came early... Actually, I have awesome parents, who decided to buy this for me lol.

So, does anybody wanna help me install this?

You forgot the nismo diff cover too

You still planing on going fi?? You might wanna consider changing to 3.3 final drive at the same time, less work and saves time.

3.3 requires a special LSD. 3.3 and 3.5 gears/lsd's arent compatible.

Yeah, the diff cover, I'll pick up when I get back.

Still planning on going F/I, but I decided to wait til I pay off the Z first. In case the motor goes kaboom... don't wanna pay for a dead animal, ya know? haha

Bro, I'll help you work on yours if you'd like, after I figure out how this thing goes in. Been reading AcidJake's howto thread, and it looks pretty easy.

yeah i heard its not to bad, but i wanted the bearings changed out in the process for added insurance that they last =)

I hear ya. Was thinking about reusing the ones on the OEM diff, but I may go with new ones too lol

WTF david!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i ordered mines in march and still nothing....been waiting so long and have been getting excuses up the @ss why i haven't gotten it yet. where did u order yours from??

i already have my 4.08 gears, nismo dif cover, nismo dif brace, and spl dif bushings waiting impatiently to get installed but i cant until i get the quaife lsd in

dang man even i didnt have to wait that long for my quaife to come in haha. i feel you on having to wait for parts though, **** sucks. on a side note got the 2 new bearings now and just waiting to install =)

Geez bro. that sucks...

I went to Phantasm Motorsports in Raleigh, NC, while I was home on Leave. They have them in stock, so got it there, and mailed it back to the island, because they don't ship outside the continental US. They did say, however, that they can ship to Hawaii, but the buyer has to pay the additional shipping fees...

Now I'm waiting on the diff bearings from Nissan, then the work can begin.
