I keep seeing people posting general picture thread here that should be in the Media Section. This section is for everything related to photography in general. Meaning questions, reviews, buyers guides, tips, equipment, recommendations and the likes in relation to photography. Just wanted to put this out so we don't have a thread about "look at my car" in the wrong section and people miss out on it.

though it would be a blurry line for what's related to photography, as this is a car forum. So while a "look at my car" thread should go in the root Media Share forum, a thread asking for tips on photography techniques like composition, lightning etc with pictures of their cars as samples would be A-ok in my books.

this thread should probably be stickied so that people get a general idea of the purpose of this sub-forum.

How about a good lense for the Rebel XTI somewhere near or similar to the sigma 10-20 f4 5.6 super wide angle lens. I know I will spend in the ballpark of $500 so if you guys recommend a good one in price and features please do so.

Any thread I see that just shows pics and doesn't share any info on how those pictures were taken, equipment used, techniques, etc...will be moved.
