Default T1i vs D90

I need some help i currently have an OLD Nikon D100 and i think its about time i upgrade. The t1i and the d90 are what i have in mind but i cant really decide on which one to go with. the only things that i have for my Nikon are a flash (sb-600) and a couple of stock lenses so that really isn't a deciding point. I shoot mainly landscape and portraits. i need help im about to put my d100 up on ebay (it continues to drop in price so the sooner the better) and i wanna figure out if i should put the body only or should i put everything up.

Thanks in advance.

I would definatly go with the D90, Especially since your shooting landscapes the super clean high ISO's on the D90 would come in handy. Have you shot with both of them yet?

both are entry level with lots of new feature. Lens selection would be more important to give you greater result. I would say either one will be fine base on your selection. Invest in lens.

I just picked up a D90 a few days ago as a replacement for my D50 which im going to keep. I havent been able to use it yet except around the house since its been raining here. I read several reviews before I decided to purchase it. So far the way all the controls are laid out and the feel of it are great. I played around with the video aswell and I was pretty impressed since I've been wanting a video camera and this kills 2 birds with one stone.

D90. does great in low light. If you already have lenses, that's good. You can also keep the SB600 and use it for having fun with off camera lighting

im of the opinion that i'd rather have a D100 and some lenses then a D90 and the stock lens.

the D100 is about... 7 years old.....
there is a lot the D90 has that the D100 does not.

Op, what kind of lens do You have? May I suggest that you get some better lenses?
bodies don't last long, lens on the other hand lasts forever.
Imo D100 is better than D90.

I could give less that thing has video. if I want video ill get a video camera! lol

it's more so the actual sensor quality... faster FPS.. and excellent low light quality. Also it can handle wireless flashes through CLS.. very useful. The body is also more durable than many people give it credit for.

no all i have is a stock lens and a 105 mm prime i was saving to get a sigma 10-20 but i noticed that the camera was hindering me, i tends to shoot dark i have to overestimate the exposure. im getting white dots on my pics (i cleaned it as much as i could) and the camera has so much grain its almost useless at anything around iso800 and up. im leaning towards the d90 because it has the top screen and the canon dials seem overcomplicated.
