Default dSLR Weekly Photo Challenge #1 - Something Tasty

*Got the idea from POTN, and figured it would be an easy way to have a competition since these are all for fun anyway*

dSLR Weekly Photo Challenge #1 - Something Tasty
04.09.10-04.16.10

The theme of this challenge is anything you find tasty or delicious (food/drink).

Rules:
1. Camera - Any type of dSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - No less than 800x600, no more than 1024x768
4. Post-Processing - Creativity is key.. completely up to the photographer
5. Posting - ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge. You may include camera model and lens used, EXIF data, etc. but this is not required.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.

One challenge per week, on the following schedule:

* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends - One week from original topic
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

Since this is the first thread, I will decide the winner of the first week. Whoever wins this week will decide topic and winner of next week. And so on..

GO!

I'm not on here much anymore (mostly on POTN too) but I'll play sometime in the next few days. It just feels like my350 has died down quite a bit in the last 6 months which is probably why you don't see many people joining in. I know Alvin shot a bar/grill about a month ago and those pics came out awesome.

Thanks bro! Here's my favorite from that shoot. It's a compilation for their website:

Some great looking shots! Maybe if we just extended this contest a bit, say until next Friday 04.23.10? That will give some more people time to see this thread. Then I will check them all out and decide on a winner, at which point they will start the next contest.

Definitely, makes me hungry everytime I read this thread

Davidc81, have you tried adjusting your white-balance levels? I like the composition and bokeh in the shot.

Edit: just to give you an idea..
