PS Y-axis help

Can some please explain to me how to get an object to spin on the Y-axis? I've found a few links but no one really explains the process. Thanks in advance

u need to have that Z logo frame by frame spinning to do that

I know how to make simple gifs in PS/Image Ready. But, trying to spin the Z on the Y-axis is my problem.
