Default tutorial

I am trying to cut faces from a picture and post them to another picture.

Does anyone have a tutorial or anything as to how to do this? Or maybe someone can just teach me.

I have photoshop 7.0

Thanks in advance.
John

me either. I have been doing the lasso tool to try and isolate the faces and then move them with the move tool, but it just doesnt work right.

anyone able to give me a clue on this?

Im trying to move these guys faces to this Twins movie poster.

I also want to rewrite some of the writing at the bottom of the poster to include their names and change the word mother at the top to say Urologist. Can someone teach me how to do the lettering?

Sorry, I am like a total noob to photoshop

i would use the magic eraser tool and erase everything but the head. This way you can zoom in and go pixel by pixel but that's just what I find easiest.

yes that is what I do. I am by no means an expert but after trying everything I could think of that's what I came up with. then you can always fill in some pixels if need be fairly easy. I think the lasso is really hard to use on complex shapes unless you have a perfectly steady hand and some type of table to draw on.

Use the pen tool for that sort of an action, period. You'll get the best results in the shortest time.

Also, if you are going to swap out a particular word in the source image ("urologist" for "mother" in this particular instance), retype the entire sentence so that one word doesn't stand out among the rest.
