Default Photoshop CS3 Workflow

There are so many Photoshoppers on this site, some good, some not so good. I thought I would post my workflow to help those wanting to process their photos better.

This workflow works well with shooting raw, provides a quick system to refer to and works great. If you have any workflows or advice to add feel free.

Acquire image. Use Adobe Camera Raw
Set White Balance with color temp slider
SetExposure
Adjust Recovery slider to bring back blown out highlights.
Adjust Black Slider to get rich blacks
Adjust Fill Slider to open up shadows slightly
Adjust Clarity to increase detail
Adjust Vibrance
Curves Adjustment to increase Contrast
Identify intent of photograph, look for areas that need emphasis or correction. Where does your eye go.
Fix problems
Use Shadow Highlight to fix problem areas.
Convert duplicate layer to smart object.
Use shadow highlight adjustment
Use layer masks to work only on selected areas
Advanced Dodging Burning
Change layer blend modes on duplicate layers
