It should work with the stock internals. I'd have to ask Julian about the specifics of the cars he has installed on so far, but all the other cars we have tested with had stock internals.

It's currently installed and running on my stock block setup and I love it. I haven't gotten any clean 1/4 runs with it yet since I've only been to the track once after I had it installed.

A friend and I who has a JWT TT on his Z which is trapping 114mph compared to my 111mph wanted to see if the WOT box was really helping at all. We found it is as with each shift I'd pull on him and he wouldn't be able to make that ground up before his next shift.

That's with him only shifting 3-4 and 4-5th. I suspect it'd be even more noticeable with the 1-2 and 2-3 shift thrown in.

Yes, we have a generic 2-step software load that will work with almost anything. We have done the installation once on a 2006 STi, but would like another test car. PM me your information and we can get you one at a discount.

FYI as of right now, the instructions that come with the kit DO NOT work for a 06 base model. I've been fighting this thing for 3 hours and am ready to just send it back!

OK, got past the wiring problems. Guess they are different for a base model and I know why. No cruise. There for no cruise cut switch or ASCD switch that you hook the WOT box to. So it will not work on a base model as of now. I'm gonna try tomorrow and see if I can find away around it.

So is this item still available for purchase? Also what if I wanted the WOT shifting for now, but upgrade later to the 2 step launch? Will I have to get a different box or just update it later when I'm ready for it?

WOW I'm blowing this thread up! lol Got the shift feature to work, but had to buy a $30 ASCD switch from Nissan & a Mini add-a-line to make it work. Took me Almost 24 hours, but had to do some figuring w/ the help of Phrozen. Hopefully he'll get back with me tonight and we'll get the 2 step working right.

This WILL work on a base model, just have to buy some extra stuff. BTW, full throttle shifting is SWEEEEEEET!!! MMMM MMMM smooth like butta!!!!
