I am pretty sure he uses DJ correction on his DD when he posts sheets.

I was just basing it on this.
Those numbers are corrected to simulate the local dyno jet..Our correction has proved to be within 8whp at the 500hp level...The boost on the dyno was barely 14psi for the most of the run...Once we get the CJM Stage 3 we can retune for more boost without going lean..Also the ambient air temp was 101 degrees and 41% humidity the day of the dyno...
He said he is only around 8 hp off at 500, so i figured much less at 440

Great job, congrats on the power, blah blah... NOW TURN UP THE BOOST!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, it's huge overkill to sleeve a block for mid-400's. ****, it's overkill to sleeve a block for anything less than 700whp IMO. But hey, it's as safe a setup as you can get I suppose.

But congrats in any case. I'm sure it's a blast to drive and at the end of the day that's all that matters.

my guess is Rome plans on turning up the boost over the next 3 months... 100whp each month

f-ing tease

Congrats Romey ... yeah and the last time I checked 440 hp to the wheels is a helluva lot more hp than what 99.9% of the cars on the road can do.

safe as in adjusting to the power.. not safe as in what the engine can handle

Nice numbers Rome...you will turn up the boost once u get bored of it haha

Nothing wrong with you playing it conservative for the moment. You are not stupid and just want to play it safe for now... We're not all made of money to go through a ton of blocks and re-tunes haha

we all get used to our HP fairly quickly and you have a great setup to continue to climb the ladder once you tire of your current power level... VERY FORKIN' WISE, imho...

julian - quick question... why is the power dropping off @ 6100? mine does a very similar thing, but i believe it is due to my stock cams... what do you think is causing it on r0mey's setup?
i am using the GTM turbo cam's my build is the same exact build as "DOUG's" we bought our motors together

with the FCon .. Julian can tune Rome right up to 17 PSI .. and then back him down to 12 on the Boost Controller.. so turning up the boost wouldn't require a retune.. just turning up the boost and then Julian road testing it to ensure no Knock. Thats one of the advantages over the UTEC.

Actually shootout mode on the older DOS software (MRC's setup) shows flywheel power when runs are done in shootout mode.

Just go raw DD numbers!

Glad you have your car back Romey..have fun with it.

yeah, i remember you telling me... but, i'm not sure why your power is falling off like mine when i have stock cams and you don't... if cams were my problem, then we shouldn't have similar power curves... get what i'm sayin'?

Congrats r0mey! Take it easy and get used to the power - you can always have Julian turn up the boost when you're ready...
