I hate to take this a little OT, but here goes. The 2JZ-GTE was the twin turbo, 3.0L, straight six motor in the 93-98 Supra Turbo. The 2JZ-GE was the naturally aspirated 3.0L straight six in the non turbo Supra. The 2JZ-GE was also used in the first gen IS300, as well as the GS300 and SC300. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_JZ_engine#2JZ-GE
edit: my roommate just told me that he also thought it was the 1JZ, so maybe wikipedia is wrong

werd. I guess the thing about the 1JZ is a common misconception, because my roommate thought that too

Yea car is running really well it loves cold weather not suitable for dropping the top but hey cant have everything. Toms River meet was really cool though they say its really big in the summer and I met like 5 other z owners last nite
