hows the wear of your R compunds???? even if you dont drive it hard its going to be eaten away fast... basically 700-800 bucks every 4k miles...with bad performance on rain(and you are not in "dry" weather area like az)
I wanna do R compounds too but..... ..it aint easy

I've driven to Orlando and back two times on them. They probably have about 500 miles on them already and I can't really see much wear. I'm not going to be going to the drag strip very soon so I'll probably be switching back to my 19's with KDW's for a while. (this weekend)
I haven't been doing burnouts on them, just driving on the street. It's kind of a waste because they still spin from a roll if you haven't heated them up properly.
As far as rain... I've driven all around in pouring rain two times already and it's not bad at all. Just don't drive like a retard.

why don't you try the new R1R
they appear to be a better tire than the KDWII and are softer also...which should help thread wear compare to the radials you re using...
i wish i could try them but they don't come in 19s
