Thanks, Chad. Srry, these are HiFlos. Thinking Greddy just now. Of course I need to call my tuner for his preference /discount.
So I've done Z1 long CAI, plenum spacer, Berks should be on in a week. Then mb a baseline.
I plan to buy new, I'd appreciate your thoughts on a true dual. Thanks!

They do look like a mirror. That might be because they were polished by Mirror Image Polishing in Springfield, MO.

Any issues getting it on the uhaul auto transport? When I called about the Nismo, they said I would have clearance issues.

I have a couple things helping me get it on the trailer, airbags and a short bumper.

I think the nismo bumpers stick out further than mine which means they are more likely to rub. And with airbags I can go higher than stock height. I think that a stock nismo would have clearance issues.

The ramps on the trailer were very short and steep so they aren't very low car friendly.

I actually used to have nismo springs so I can show the comparison between airbags and nismo springs. Ignore the bodywork changes, the top pictures is airbags all the way up, bottom is nismo springs

Definitely one nice thing of having airbags. What is your opinion on performance quality. I know most people are against it.

I have absolutely no complaints at all. Like I said, I was on OEM Nismo suspension before air bags. From the nismo springs to bags, I can't tell any difference. So in my book that is pretty damn good

I agree the only plus is to get up/over things. But there are also no negatives to it.

absolutely nothin against bags, but most people wont pus their cars enough to really experience the performance you get from true coilovers anyways to say from that perspective that they are better over Bags....I have true coilovers myself, max dropped, lol, and its a bit of a lifestyle adjustment as far as driving, vs a more forgiving options with bags, but it depends really...I think with bags you are surely going more for the looks and the stanced realm...nothin wrong with that either

I definitely agree with you. I would never go bagged but there have been a few occasions where I was pulling into a parking lot or going across over sized speed bumps and wish I had them. Currently I am running sportlines and have concidered actually raising the car a hair. Just not sure if I will eventually go prolines, switch to swift is my preference, or just stay with what I have for now and go full coilover like I want to do in a couple years. Definitely not gonna start "another" strut vs. coilover debate I know both sides of the story there.

Like you guys, I never intended to get airbags. Ended up finding a good deal on the kit. I have about $1400 in a full airlift v2 setup so it was hard to pass up.

I used to have coil overs on my rx8 (obviously a diff car) so I have some experience with springs, coils, and bags. Like you guys said, I do not push my car to its max. I have never done any auto-x, only drag racing.

I would like to do auto-x but it just never works out to go and I'm more into drag racing. So saying that one is better than the other depends completely on the driver and what they are doing.

I don't consider myself one of the stance kids, but for my z being my daily driver, having airbags is 10,000x the best option.
