Okay not sure if anyone is looking at this thread anymore but I'll try anyway.

'08 350Z

Car will be dropped 1 inch, 1.5 inches tops.

Considering one of two sizes for a set of Work VS-XX.

18x9.5 Front +7 offset (A-disk): Tires 255/40/18
18x10.5 Rear +7 offset (A-disk): Tires 285/40/18

OR

18x9.5 Front +14 offset (O-disk): Tires 255/40/18
18x10.5 Rear +14 offset (O-disk): Tires 285/40/18

I know A-disk is a more flat disc and O-disk will give a deeper lip, but will either of them fit properly while giving a decent sized lip and not requiring spacers or fender roll, considering a 1"-1.5" drop? If so, which adjustments with the wheels should I make? My goal is to avoid spacers or fender rolling if possible.

9.5/10.5 +12 on 245/40/18 & 265/40/18 from what ive gathered this would be nice and flush with roll in the rear and dropped around 1-1.5" correct? Not trying to run excessive camber or stretch. Anybody confirm?

 

Both setups will have clearance issues. Rear fenders will need to be rolled. Front will need a lot of negative camber since you can't roll the front fenders.

 

Those tires are a little stretched on those widths. 255 or 265 on the front and 285 would be more squared up but then you will have clearance issues. Best bet is looking into a slightly higher offset if you want squared up sidewalls without rubbing.

 

I dont mind a small stretch I actually kind of like it so let me rephrase will this fit with a minor stretch and with my rears rolled lowered 1-1.5", just trying to stay away from excessive stretch. I found these tires sizes are actually the smallest tire size still within recommended size for the wheel width. That being said I was considering 255/275 aswell.

so would 9.5/10.5 +12 on 245/40/18 & 265/40/18 be flush and not rub with slight stretch?

The reason I chose those tire profile sizes was I was trying to stay within 3% circumference for vdc

 

OK, first thing, some administrivia.... please don't duplicate your posts in multiple sections, SOMEONE will answer you because any post you make will come up for user/readers in whatever thread you post in when they check for "New Posts". Not a big deal but it can be confusing when there are duplicated answers in multiple places.

OK, onwards....

The MOST WIDELY USED (not always right for everyone) 18" tire/wheel setup is a 9.5/10.5 setup as you've selected. Offsets will vary between +15mm and +25mm with +15 being the most flush F&R when used with 255/40 front and 275/40 rear tires.

But I think you did mention something about not wanting to roll the rears. You WILL (90%+ probability) have to roll with this setup when lowered (which you mentioned you have done or likely will do). (+22 might give a tad more space but still, don't count on it if running the 10.5 rear)

Look on the Enkei tire and wheel thread for lots of pics of this size setup.

But as a point of reference, this is a conservative 9.5 +15mm square setup with the tires mentioned above:


For ref: lowered 19mm, negative end of stock alignment range ~ -1.5.

I did NOT have to roll until I ran this +15 setup. And these are "only" 9.5s but as mentioned 10.5s will fit with rolling of the fenders. And after my current wheel project/endeavor with my other wheels, will be swapping to 10.5 RPF1s for this set.

If you keep your F/R size bias within 40mm width and same aspect ratio F/R, VDC will be happy as the 3% delta will not be out of spec.

 

I made sure to mention that I want/will be rolling the rears and lowering 1-1.5" (which should give it some extra -camber, correct? possibly a bit more than just a 19mm drop) I see you said the 9.5/10.5 +15 255/40 & 275/40 are okay with rolls, so my question is the +12 are around 3mm more poke do you think you would have clearance for 255/40 & 275/40? 245/40 & 275/40? I see other people fit even the larger tire setup I listed in pictures just trying to make sure they aren't running excessive -camber to make them fit. Don't mind changing it slightly just don't want anything stupid. Thanks

 

245/40/18 & 265/40/18: Rears will definitely be ok with a roll. Fronts will be really close but if you do have issues, you'd be able to fix the issues with just a little bit of additional negative camber.

255/40/18 & 275/40/18: Rears will be ok with a roll. Fronts will most likely have clearance issues (I had 255 tires on a +15 wheel and the fronts rubbed). Depending on how much you lower the car, you'd probably be able to fix the rubbing up front with some additional negative camber (not a stupid amount, but more than you would with a 245 tire).

You could always go with a slightly higher offset, but that's a personal preference based on whether you want to prioritize looks or having the exact alignment settings that you want.

 

I bought some wheels the other day, 19x9.5+20 and 19x10.5+25 and im trying to find the most ideal tire size that will allow me to not have to roll. i am currently at stock height but plan on lowering soon after i get the tires. im on a very tight budget because of school so id also like recomendations for an affordable tire.i will probably end up getting eibach sportlines with kinetix front arms and spc rears with toe bolts

What's up guys. First time posting here and it's a question about spacers. Yes I've used the search bar and even read the great spacer guide but I'm still a noob and need questions answered due to the fact I cannot comprehend what's shown to me.

I have a stock '04 Z33 where I'm going to throw on some G35 Rays 19" rims (225/40 ZR 19, 245/40 ZR 19) but wanted to get the perfect MM size for spacers front and rear so the wheels comes out of the body a little bit. This would be my ideal fitment:

What are your suggestions for the spacers size front and rear? I'm also trying to avoid rolling my fenders. With the 19" Rays will I have to, to achieve this look? I'm not going to drop my car, I love the original OEM height look. Someone suggested me 20MM for the front and 25MM for the rear. Is that correct? Thank you in advance.

265/35-18 works great with those wheels. They will slightly rub it you don't slightly pull the front fenders or add 0.1 more camber with an aftermarket arm.

 

-Tires size is what i have a question about, I have a stock 2003 350z I just ordered some Varrstoen ES2(I know they are replica and "low quality" but I'm not balling either)
-Wheel size
F = 18x9.5 +22
R = 18x10.5 +22
-Camber spec(I'm a noob at this car stuff, I'm not sure)
-Sitting on stock suspension right now but in 2 weeks I will get the Tein Comfort Sport off my buddy's hands when he get his bags.
Since I'm already here I have two additions question
1)If possible please give tire size and how low I can go without having to roll my fender
2) Optimal, perfect, amazing, spot on tire size and the right lower height on the Tein CS, I don't mind having getting my fenders roll.

What about +12 in the front? I'm changing my order because I plan on getting a BBK in the future and the representative told me that +22 would require spacers

 

Same, but use aftermarket camber arms up front and add a hair extra camber to clear

 

Well, I'm on my 3rd set of springs now(finally happy) and ready to order tires since my suspension will be complete this week, and tirerack has $100 off Hankook tires, so I'd like to be 110% I will more than likely have no issues even though I asked something similar a few months back and have seen similar setups.

Setup-
F= 18x9.5 +15
R= 18x10.5 +15
Tires= Hankook ventus v12 evo2. Front-265/35, Rear-285/35
Rolled QP's. Trimmed front fender screw. Eibach Sportline Springs.

I'd ideally like to keep the camber around -2* F&R if possible.

Any better recommendation on tire size? Not a fan of the hellaflush scene.

 

Looking to get new wheels and tires. My question is will this setup rub at all and will it all fit?
