What have you done for your Z today?
Well, not today... but I returned today from taking a trip to the Tennessee/N.Carolina border in the Smoky Mountains with the missus and the Z to watch the eclipse from the path of totality. I plan on making a thread for those of you that are interested and not nauseated by all of this eclipse talk by now. I'm guessing that the 'Media Share' subforum is the appropriate place for this.
We watched the eclipse from Deals Gap and the famous Tail of the Dragon on Hwy 129 which, as I'm sure most of you know, has 318 curves in 11 miles and a memorable part of Zdayz.
A couple pics from a most enjoyable journey and unforgettable experience. I wouldn't have taken the trip in anything else.

Those are great pics!
I, for one, would love to see more eclipse pics - maybe somewhere in the Lounge or Media Share - and more of the Z! It's once again annual voting time for "Mic's Top 10 Zs on my350Z.com"!!
Yeah, I'm keeding of course since I lost my "MY350Z Arbiter of Good Taste" title a couple of years ago when it was discovered I'd mistakenly voted (clearly unclear on the concept) for this as a "Best Widebody Car" on some other site. Blunders are forever on the interwebs.

Caveat - it may turn into an infamous MicVelo "short" read.
Hmmmmmm
Wet sanded my rear fender and then buffed it and waxed it up... Still not that happy about it, but it deff came out better than it was with the sticker covering the primed hole.
Its coming together slowly but surely

I'm sorry for that.
You're agreeing that some of your posts are as long as "war and peace" ?

I scrapped some z parts that will never get used...
Made $8
That aluminum hood was a little hard to let go... And the hatch was a little sad leaving behind... O well, trying to be less of a horder.

Came home and put some red hoses on, and replaced some missing clips from around the engine bay...
I figured I had no good excuse to be missing any push connectors...
The Z1 hoses look nice but are a bit of a pain to put on because they are a little thicker than the oem ones... Also some seem a little loose with the oem clamps.. Thus why I put some hose clamps on some...
This one the goes into the intake touches the throttle body so I added a zip tie to keep them apart.. Probably not a big deal but I would rather they not touch.
Peekaboo
1500 miles and the paint isn't messed up yet...

Took a great top-down run along the CO front range and out on the eastern plains this morning. Spun up to triple digits for the first time in awhile (in a safe zone - nobody was dyin' except me).
Finally got around to ordering my ZSpeed under shroud, black. Will install mid next month when I do my upcoming oil change.
Posted on another thread I was looking for a black Coolant Reservoir tank. Did get connected to our member here that sells aluminum units and seriously thought about it but decided I want to retain visual coolant fill check capability so... Ordered a new OEM unit and I'm going to determine the best black paint choice for plastic adhesion and color match to the other plastic parts in that area of the bay, mask off a narrow section on the back side where the fill marks are and see how that goes. If it doesn't turn out or deteriorates I'll toss it in the trash an put the original back in.
Still want to delete my passenger side wiper, hate having that hanging-out there and I have zero need for it. Haven't done anything to look into my options yet tho.
