Default Potential Project car avail..please look

So I have a line on a 350Z with a Greddy TT kit already installed, OZ Superleggra wheels, true dual exhaust, etc. Only catch, it has a blown motor. Rod sticking out the block. Regardless the car is selling for $17k as is. This would be from a reputable shop of course. Anyone interested? PM me for details..

Damn thats almost tempting. Very reasonable price, if the car had been taken care of.

The car is in great condition other then the busted block. Its Chrome Silver (whatever the lighter silver color is called) 18" OZ Super Leggras gunmetal 3 piece, Brembos (track model) true dual Stillen, etc.

wow, that is tempting, you could pay another 5k for a built motor and be set, for under 23000.

Plus another 5k-10k for all the extra parts needed to use that built motor. It would be great if it were that cheap.

Eh... I even thought about it myself.

$3000 built short block
$549 boost controller
$1000 return fuel system
$95 Walbro pump
$1200 cams
$700 Emanage Ultimate
$500 tuning
$600 RC650s injectors
$1000 core for new block
$17,000 for the car with Greddy kit exhaust and wheels

Total cost: $25,644 for 600+ hp to the wheels ROCK SOLID

Thats cheaper then a base model Z stock off the lot.

I included tuning but thats why I said PROJECT CAR. This is the kind of car that would sit in my garage and I would work on as I had time myself. Or spend another $2000 for the labor and still be under the price of a current Base model Z

Sounds like a good deal if that's all thats wrong with it.

On the other hand, if you get into it and end up needing a new tranny, the heads are toast... etc... could get expensive quickly.

Clutch, wideband, half shafts, radiator, and that's the ones I can think of off the top of my head. You get the point.

Realistically your looking at,

$3000 built short block
$1200 Cams
$1200 Clutch
$1000 return fuel system
$1000 at least for new block
$700 Emanage Ultimate
$600 RC650s injectors
$549 boost controller
$500 Guages
$500 3" Exhaust
$500 Axles
$350 Radiator
$125 Thermostat

$11,224 without Tuning, and labor for turbo uninstall or install. So if you do it yourself you save big time. I wish I had that kind of talent. It is a good deal if you know about this ahead of time cuz you end up spending more than that any way.
