Authentic JDM Nismo kit on SB - Ganador mirrors fitted!!
Hi guys
Finally got my genuine Nismo JDM bumper and skirts fitted. Cut a long story short, i decided not to fit the JDM rear pieces and ended up selling them. Nismo Wing? Hell no. Ive ordered the Weber Sport carbon fibre rear skirt, but am still undecided whether it needs it
The car is sitting crazy low now, so low i couldnt get my flat wheel jack, or the stock jack, under the car. So awaiting fitment are my clear led sidemarkers. Check out the clearance on my driveway. I might just use some planks of wood and drive the car up on that to jack up, if i cant find decent wheel ramps in Aus
Car is still a work in progress, ill use next weekend to take the doortrims off and fit my CF Ganador mirrors. I also had Blitz eyelids painted up and will dry fit them to see if they look good
Very impressed with the quality of the kit. My installer said it didnt need much prep work. The skirts were spot on, the bumper needed a little sanding under one headlight, and a few edges on both pieces needed filling as they were a little chipped
I took the pics w/out the hamburger to see what itd look like. So next respray i can decided whether to keep it or shave it off

looking good.
i really like the nismo V1 under bumper finisher on yours . i just took the OEM aero under spoiler from my stock bumper and reinstalled it on my V1 bumper. it looks similar to that except its only in the middle rather than going all the way across. it helps too. the whole bottom part is scuffed up but its saved the lower part of the bumper from abuse

mc how do you find the bumper re stone chips. Im worried itll chip alot easier now being FRP. Ive prepared myself for a bumper respray every year
i got the underspoiler from perf nissan. Its a cheap part considering the damage itll save in the long run. In fact i might order another one just to have as a spare. My installer drilled holes under the bumper and put threaded nuts in there to make replacing the lip something i can do myself
i think its best to go right the way around, i enter driveways at sharp angles where the lip edge just in front of the front wheel will make contact first

So it looks like you've got yourself a nice right-hand drive Z....nice. Maybe you should put a Fairlady badge on it if it's right-hand drive?
Where did you order your Nismo pieces from? I'm sure they were really expensive.

Car looks sweet ...
I noticed you switched to 06 headlights and I can't tell if those are 06 tails or not from that angle. Are they? If not I think getting some 06 tails to match the heads would look sweet ... Looking forward to more pics in the future with mirrors, rear lip, etc ...

to answer the q's above......
yeap ive replaced both front and rear lights to 06, and the headlights especially make a big difference in terms of freshening up the exterior
the Nismo kit and Ganador mirrors i bought through my Aus dealer rmsmotorparts.com. The kit wasnt that expensive really, landed it cost just over AUD 2K. But then another AUD 1600 to paint and fit
that is a cf rear view mirror, i purchased it from Japan through my Aus dealer. Its made by a company called zoom engineering. It has blue tinted glass like the ganador mirrors so should cut out glare at night. We didnt get the auto dimming mirror in Aus. I bought it to match my Prim@ru cf gauge pods. The rear view mirror is real CF but the Ganadors are just a CF print - so thinking about painting them if they look crap fitted
Next job is replacing my 3 JBL amps with the new Alpine PDX amps - 1000.1 for the sub, 4.150 for the front MB QLine 6.5" components, and 2.150 for the rear JBL GTi 6.5" 2 ways. Should sound sweet. My JBLs just arent putting out enough power

JDMFairlady im not a fan of the nismo rear pieces. I did buy them but changed my mind. They look a little too stuck on
Ive ordered the Weber CF rear skirt, that'll take a good month to get here from Japan - it has to be manufactured. Im undecided whether to fit it though

i finally worked out how to jack the car up
was quite a painstaking logistical challenge but ive sussed it out. It involves sitting the oem jack half way down the sill past the skirt bulge, jacking one side up enough to fit the floor jack (and arm) under the bulge and continuing to jack the car up. Then removing the oem jack and putting it on the other side......phew!
anyway that meant clear led sidemarkers full steam ahead. And whoever says you have to remove the bumper to get to the sidemarkers, well i have the cuts and slits on my hands to prove otherwise
I think the clears look alot better than the orange - i only changed to orange to match the old headlights (stock Aus spec are tinted orange). And the orange leds match the 06 headlight leds really well - two big thumbs up for z-enterprises
i also put a little nismo decal on the bonnet, you know for the ricers, and a quick coat of glossy P21S so the drool doesnt stain the paint
i attempted to fit my mirrors but soon realised my custom speaker pods would require the skills of the person who built them. So car's booked in for next monday, woooohooo. And ive decided to go ahead with the weber CF rear skirt - painted but leaving the diffuser pieces in CF http://japanparts.com/images/ImageFr...base=1&no=1672
