i know there is already a thread about this (and it can be closed, deleted or whatever [although i'd prefer it to stay closed, but not deleted....so members can reference back to it, as it has pictures of the park), but this will be the new thread in which we will get a final head count for all SCAL/NCAL Z's that will be attending this event.

this event will take place at:
Rotary Centenial Park
2625 S. College Dr.
Santa Maria, CA 91801

this is a G/Z/FX meet/bbq and am sure will be a great time. lets do our best to get a good turnout, guys/girls.

the park is beautiful, weather is great (not hot at all, good ol' central coast weather), basketball courts, baseball field, more than enough ground to have a good football game, and a great place to even bring your kids (they have a couple different playgrounds there).

there have been more than a few people who have put their names up, but have not payed by the "deadline" (which was today). i know it's still early for a lot of you to know if you can make it, just don't forget about it .

G-Ticket (Lisa) has already been generous enough to pay the portion to reserve the park and will put up the money for the caterer. PM her to payup via paypal (price is $25 a person).

discuss possible caravans in this thread. i'm actually leaving the night before the event (friday) and anybody who wants to make this a weekend deal, can let me know and we can caravan up there friday night. it's about a 3 hour drive (on the central coast too, beautiful scenary).

I would go but thats 250 miles (3hrs) away from the bay area....

 

it's that far for most of us. for me it's 3 hours as well. i believe a few people from the bay area going. this event will be well worth the drive.

I moved down from Santa Maria, I have friends there still so I can probably arrive the night before and crash there and then go to the meet the next day.

 

cool man. where in santa maria did you use to live? santa maria is such a small town....i might know you, haha.

but if you plan on going the night before, let me know for sure. i will be heading out the night before as well. maybe we can caravan up there....we can even take the san marcos pass and have a little fun

if you're serious, though...remember, it's $25 bucks a person. PM G-Ticket (Lisa) and let her know, so she can give you her paypal or workout any other payment methods.

also, if you know any guys/girls that own a Z, G or FX....please let them know about the meet, spread the word so we can get a nice turnout.

 

I graduated from Righetti in 2002 and I lived across the street from Ralph Dunlop Elementary school (you could see if from my front window). In High school I drove a black 300ZX, I used to do all the street racing back before it got broken up. Used to go to EUI Motorsports and Dreamspeed for parts.

i graduated from Valley Christian Academy (maybe you've heard of it?) in 2003. i lived more inland santa maria....off of donovan on palisade.

in high school i drove a blue 280z.

I remember VCA it was off santa maria way just down the street from the drive-in movie theater. I went there a efw times to watch some basketball games.

My car in high school sort of stood out it was a black 300ZX with white stripes down the middle and later on I had a nitrous powered white Cavalier with decals down the side and a full kit n all that good stuff.
