The VIN is JN1AZ34E04T062331. (VEHICLE MANUFACTURED AND SHIPPED TO DEALER 01/10/2004)-Thats what it says on AutoCheck. Plus, what is the significance of having a late 2004 model? I'm new to the Z car.

There is no significance/nobody cares. At best you have a 04.5 only need to know for ecu upgrades with uprev. Enjoy.

 

Wideband O2 sensor. 04 doesn't have it. 04.5 does.

Plus, its been proven many times on the forums that the 04.5 gets the ladies better by a margin of over 37%.

If the letter before the 6 digit serial number is "M" instead of "T", it's a 2004.5 because it was produced at the Oppama plant.

 

So it is a 2004.5.
