It's 2am and two indepent cars on the highway where saying hi. I found it too awkward getting so much attention at that time of night with so little cars on the road.

The second guy made a sign as if I had my lights off. So I flashed my lights so he can see I had them on and continued.

It turns out that my standard parking lights were not on while driving despite having the lights of the car on (my entire rear was not lit up; it would light up though when I pressed the brake).

24 hours ago, I emailed if enyone had any ideas on the radio lights not going on after the TV tuner install w/ screen. My installer will be coming back one of these days, but now I have concluded that the radio lights and the parking lights are intimately connected somehow as niether go on when I turn on the lights of the car.

So my question is, is there a fuse or something for this. I checked both fuse areas and all the fuses seem OK. Any suggestions on this matter so I can quickly fix without having to wait for the installer?

Despite this mishap, I cannot complain on the quality of the installation as he even took the time to sound proof all the cables and redampen the plastic parts of the interior so there was no new interrior rattling sounds. I mentioned this was one of my concerns; and quite frankly...the rattle I had in the rear prior to the install is no longer there and it feels super solid now.

 

I cannot seem to get in contact with my installer; surely Monday I will. In the mean time though I have concluded the problem is the parking lights. When I turn the head lights on to the first notch, no external lights turn on. The A/C ***** light up but the radio doesn't.

I have not found any fuses that relate to this so I am assuming there is a bad connection somewhere. Anyone who has the service manual can point me in the right direction to start checking would be appreciated.

 

I do not have parking lights or anything related to them such as the license plate light, etc. We cannot find a fuse for these lights and now I can't drive my car at night until we resolve this issue....any clues anyone?

Is there a hidden fuse box somewhere other than then engine & on driver side?
