Like it says wanting to buy one this weekend if possible. Willing to drive around 30 minutes to pick it up. I checked the electronics store and they didn't have the 2.2 ohm 1/2 watt one, and I don't have soldering kit/experience to get a bunch and wrap them together!

By electronics store, do you mean Radio Shack? If not, they are usually my go to place for that kind of stuff. Might also check hobby shops

 

I went to fry's but didn't want to name drop. Then I went to R shack.
