Thanks for the info. I looked it up on eBay and I found one for $310 free shipping. I'm contemplating about getting it. I want to do a little more research about the product itself. Looks awesome for sure!

 

i saw this guy too but you have to remember where it is coming from and whether or not dowon-tech will honor the warranty from this seller.

you have to take cost into consideration when it break down and you have to pay your installer to take it out and reinstall the new system.

we all know that USA market price is $360 for this system. from auto-innovatio and it is a branch of dowon-tech in USA. There is another branch in USA in San diego. They also selling it for 360 each. however, san diego branch mostly do vendor sales. I got my unit from San Diego Branch and they said sellers who violated their contract policy will not have their warranty cover by dowon-tech.

You have to ask your seller and have it written on paper that they will honor the warranty themselves and all costs due to defective item.

no. I bought the system from a representative from San Diego. He asked me to write a diy guide for my car and gave me a really good discount for it. I did wrote the diy and posted it. Over the year i preferred many members to him. He promised to give me either money back for my systems or i get another free system. Every 10 members i got 1 system. I preferred over 20 customers to him already. I also keep in touch since he is in San Diego and i am in san diego too. I asked him questions and he answered.


I saw that you are new here. You should check out the diy guide if you have a problem installing. and i know that most of people who bought the system from ebay for $310 have problems with their remote controllers not working after a month or two and they had to buy a new one because their sellers didnt cover the warranty. If you ask around you will see how many people got issues with remote control not working. I got many emails asking me how to fix it which turned out to be defected remote controllers. if you got it from Nathan aka Nhat he will send you a replacement for free. you can ask members here if that is true.


i know so much because i had helped many members install the system on their cars. I also installed over 10 cars for friends and some members on the g35

 

What happened to the remote controllers? don't they all came from the same company. I was just wondering how much do u charge for installation? Do you have a shop or something. If I decided to buy one I might just ask you to do it for me.

i dont have a shop bro. i am just like you. i am a member here. I got the system and install it myself. If you have an automatic manual i can install it for you but i do not touch manual transmission car. I know many shops around san diego do it for really cheap.

the remote control just stop working. the proximity sensors got worn out. that is what happened. I heard my sellers said those were defected supplies which dowon-tech replaced with new batch of supplies to every seller that received defected supplies. however some of the sellers decided to sell the defective system instead of throwing it away like they were asked to. The sell it at a cheaper price and not telling you about it. later within a year it stop working and you have to buy a new remote control for 90 dollars. dowon-tech will not replace it because they already replaced with these sellers. These sellers will not give you the warranty either. Therefore you have to watch where you purchase your unit bro.

i would but this guy kept messing with my sale thread. he only join to post on my thread. he is the seller on ebay who sold defective item to people. and we here all know that USA market price is 360 for st800 and 480 for st960. We have been customers of auto-innovatio here long enough and we all know that. We also know lots of people got shitty unit that need replacement after a several months for buying cheaper system.

He first joined and accused me of being a seller on ebay and the rep. of dowon-tech in SD. I am not. I am just guy who got free system for referals. I am sure many member here who bought the system from jefferson on ebay got the same deal as me. He, jeff, basically asked you to bring 10 buyers to him and you get 1 free system. I wish people here could back me up on this but it seems like no one read this sale thread. Bigd22 already back me up. I wish the mod could see this and ban this guy. it is one thing to join and become a member here but it is different to join and keep messing with me. I have been a member here for 3 years. i have lots of trader feedback. many people who know me will back me up.

but then again, i should look at this as a free bump. I dont have time to bump the thread everyday so this might help.
