Default 2008 350z Nismo - Red

2008 350z Nismo - Red

53,xxx miles with a clean title

VIN - JN1BZ34E08M752083

If you are looking for a show car or a car that has spent its life in the garage, this car is not for you. However, if you are looking for a well maintained car that has proven it is a great daily driver and capable track car, keep reading.

Car runs great, shifts fine and stops on a dime. Interior is in good shape with the expected scuffs/scratches to the plastic. Seats are in great shape...no rips and no smoking. No accidents, however, hood has a bunch of little rock chips some of which I tried to touch up but doesn’t look that good. Also, right side of front bumper cover was scuffed pretty badly, so I repainted the area but not a great job or color match.

Radio is an older double din unit that will play single CD or DVD. Has a Pioneer amp and upgraded single sub (in place of the factory Bose sub).

Good Stuff
  • New OEM short block installed by Nissan Dealership (less than 2500 miles)
  • New JWT Clutch (less than 2500 miles)
  • New Stillen Lightweight Flywheel (less than 2500 miles)
  • Front Brake Pads – EBC Redstuff with about 50% pad
  • Rear Brake Pads – Hawk HP+ brand new (just installed)
  • 265/35-18 Kumho XS tires all the way around brand new (just installed)
  • Just had a 4 wheel alignment
  • Synthetic Trans Fluid Change (less than 2500 miles)
  • Synthetic Diff Fluid Change (less than 200 miles)
  • Synthetic Oil Changes every 2500 miles (or less)
  • Both front wheel bearings changed less than 4000 miles ago
  • All electronics (windows, lights, cruise, etc.) work
  • Cold A/C works great
  • Still has remainder of 5 year (through 7/2013), 60,000 mile powertrain warranty

Aftermarket Parts (stock parts not included)
  • DC Sports true dual exhaust
  • NISMO S-Tune Suspension
  • NISMO Short Throw Shifter
  • 18x10 Silver Enkei RP03 Wheels with 265/35-18 Tires (square setup)
  • Front and Rear Steel Braided Brake Lines

$21,000 obo

If you have questions or would like to come take a look, feel free to call me. Jason - 619-600-7726

** Please do not thread crap in this thread. If you think the price is to high, keep looking. If your friend just bought one for $15,000...awesome, your friend got an incredible deal but you don't need to post it in my thread.

Bought the car 2 years ago in Columbus, Ohio and on the drive home, noticed it had a bit of noise coming from the engine area. Since it was under warranty, took it to Poway Nissan and they said they heard the noise but believed it was coming from the clutch/flywheel. Poway Nissan wanted to charge me to pull the trans to verify if I had a stock or aftermarket clutch/flywheel setup. Since the car was driving fine, I said no and went on my way.

A couple months ago (a year and half later), my clutch started to slip but car was still running fine. I took it to Kearney Mesa Nissan to have them put in the JWT Clutch and Stillen flywheel. I also told them about the noise which was still there. They called me the next day and said they thought it was in the engine and about 2 weeks later, the car had a new shortblock courtesy of Nissan. Seems a piston skirt was slapping a bit. They inspected the heads and said they were fine so those went back in.

I already bought a 2012 Boss Mustang and before anyone makes any comments, yes I know (to whatever you are going to say). Here is my comparison.

350z - Like a high quality kitchen knife. Nice and balanced and does the job very well without huge amounts of drama.

302 Boss - Like a rusty machette. A whole lot of fun with a lot more potential to cut you. BTW - Still does the job since my first time at the track with it (bone stock) and I only was a couple seconds behind my best Z time at the same track.

Just put the DBA rotors on since they came with the used Brembo kit I bought so not much feedback on them. Needed something so I could take off the stoptechs.

Hey Jayson, When are you coming to the track again. I'd like to check out your new Boss. That's a great car BTW, as I'm sure you know cause you got one. We where just at ButtonWillow last weekend. Thought I'd see you there.

Now stop tempting me with your Nismo crap. I've always wanted one!

I was out of town for work last weekend so couldn't make Buttonwillow. My next event is Laguna Seca at the end of month with Speed Ventures. Also, a group of guys are planning to go to the Aug. 12th AutoClub speedway event.

I'm sad to see you leaving the Z family but after riding shotgun with you at fontana speedway I can see why. That new Boss you got really is "a boss"

That is hilarious. I drove by your place a week or so ago and saw a red boss parked on the street. I thought to myself...that's a car Jason would own, I bet it's probably his.

Sad to see you're moving on, but glad to see you picked up an awesome ride in the process (I'm very jealous). Good luck with your sale!

Yeah, really like the Boss so far as a daily driver and track toy. Great power, decent handling and room to put some stuff. Putting a few things on it but will keep it pretty much stock.
