correction, scratch out z days and put brandson fest. That's what I meant to say...I am already going to that one lol. As a matter of fact I am part of that forum
hey guys finally getting to the MO forum. there's a good place in Union, MO out 44 called Eurotrix Tuning. went out there and grabbed some parts off an 07 they were parting out. pretty impressive shop they've got there. they've got a dyno and are uprev approved or licensed or whatever the specification is for the Osiris. they do basic maintenance and will also do full FI builds. gettin ready to drive my Z out there soon and get my springs and sways installed then eventually get the osiris there check em out www.eurotrixtuning.com
hmm, might be a viable option. They are authorized osiris but don't list 350z/g35 on their list of vehicles.
I emailed them to see what they can offer. This might not be a bad place for me to do some dyno pulls and datalog to see how my tune is doing (once i get it finished).
a guy who worked there that i spoke to named christian said he had a ton of experience working on VQ's and loves 'em... said they've put the Osiris on a few Z's and G's, no problem

wonder if they do engine work. I might need a shop to tear down my engine and redeck the heads and block for a new head gasket.

when i went out there to look at stuff from the Z they were parting i wasn't really expecting to see what i found ... their 'garage/shop' is a huge warehouse. when i walked in they had a track porsche 924 (i think it was a 924) that was fully built sitting in front, they had a funny car dragster sitting next to it, a bmw they were dropping an LS2 into, a twin turbo supra they were building (christian said it was pushing 1000hp ... engine looked INSANE ), a honda civic up on the lift (lol), another honda in the back a guy was building a cage for, and a brand new GTR up on the lift that was getting stuff done to it. i was VERY impressed to say the least
i talked to these guys and they want 700.00 for a dyno tune. thats out of my pricerange
eh, that's nto bad if they finish it. Depending on how hard it is you're better off with a set price that way you don't worry about the tuner milking you for cash.
Hal @ IP runs a set price for a tune but that madman sits down and puts the nose to grindstone! He also doesn't stop til it's 100% finished.
I wonder what they charge just to run some numbers? i'll want ot make some adjustments myself on my haltech so i'll just need dyno time.

I don't know if your ever in KC but Modified by Kc does tunes. http://mkcperformance.com/blog1/ they specialize in evo's but they've done some work for a few of my subby friends. might be cheaper than eurotrix...
thanks i will give them a shot. Is there any place in st. louis that may already have done a similar tune, so that i would not cost as much?
there isn't anywhere that tunes 350z in stl.
i don't even know this shop that popped up but if 45 minutes to a shop is too far for you then you need to get an american car so you can find closer tuners.
I took mine to lexington kentucky (6hrs) because i wanted it done RIGHT
I bought my Z in St Peters just west of St Charles in July of 07. Still have it too. I moved back home to Utah and would have loved to know a club out there would have been nice to have known other car enthusiasts out there.
