I initially guessed Houston but considering the OP is in Shreveport, it's probably just as close to Dallas.

I've been to MSR outside Dallas and it is a first class facility. I understand that the Houston facility is just as good.

I'd be interested in the Houston facility as it's a lot closer than Dallas and I haven't been there yet.

Thanks Dave. That's why I was asking. I wanted to know how close the track was to me in Houma. If it is really far then I won't be able to go. I would love to go but I can't go to an event that far from home yet.

From what I understand, the Houston track is about 5 hrs from BTR. It's not something you can do in one day, you'd have to head over there the night before and stay locally. Track days usually start early (8am), something you'll especially appreciate in the summer heat.

I've got two events planned for this fall so I'll have to shoot for a MSR-Hou event next year.

I'm surprised Mackie (ZSpectrum) isn't in here getting all excited.
