Are there any tuners or reputable shops in or somewhere near Shreveport? Trying to find someone to do my FI build in a few months, if nothing else I suppose I could drive to Georiga and hit up Forged.

There nothing like that in shreveport. Best place to go would be T1 racing in dallas. They've done most of the boosted cars in shreveport and have done a really good job. I'll be hitting them up when I do my FI build.

 

What will you be using to tune?

There is a shop here that's tuned a couple of FI'd Z's.

 

we just took our 350tt to SGP and they did a great job. Five hours on the dyno was $475. Cant beat that, even if you could it would not be the same quality of work. As far as I know they are the only real tunners for non-honda vehicles in a three state area.

 

Definately recommend SGP racing in Houston, they were super cool and very knowledgeable. Don't know of any where else close that I would go.

jotech in garland can tune your Z...

 

Jotech does a good job, but they are not very helpful unless you get all of your parts and labor done there. Mark at SGP spent an hour helping us try to get a boost controller working. Then gave us a manual boost controller to use so we could tune the car to 8lbs and fix the controller when we got home. He let me use any tools I needed and gave me all the hoses and tees I needed, he even bought us breakfeast. Bottom line is he only charged us for 5 hours of tunning at $475, he didn't charge us for the time with the boost controller or the parts. I have had reciepts from T1 where he charged me for a washer at .04 cents.
