you will be in the prayers of my family. please let us know if there is anything we can do. I haven't been on this forum long but it is good to see such a close group of people who support each other through times like this in their lives. I will be looking at any items you sell. I just got my Z and am looking for upgrades and would rather see my money go to someone who needs it.

Good luck with everything and I hope it all works out.

not to get too personal, but what were your symptoms? why the MRI?

here's to wishing you a speedy recovery...and a speedy Z when you're better...

having headaches, then i started to slowly feel i was losing hearing in my left ear, everytime it was really bothering me i had a sinus infection, or something like that. the doc would say your ear looks fine i can see your ear drum,no fluid or wax. after going in several times for my ear, she sent me to see a ent(ear, nose, throat)doctor after much testing, wooolah here i am. I can tell you that a brain tumor didnt even cross my mind at all, and when i was expecting to hear i would need some kind of sinus surgery. Well lets just say i had a breakdown , They gave me some good tranq's to cope w/it for now so im just trying to make the best of it. It does suck that i will have to sell nearly everything i own to survive while im off work due to surgery and recovery.

My mom used to work at Fred Meyers a while back (general grocery store owned by Kroger), and there was a 19 year old boy working there who had the same problem. It was a really sad story, but only at first. He had the same symptoms as you with the headaches and instead of going deaf in one ear he actually went temporarily blind. He was riding his bike one day and lost his eyesight and had to sit at the side of the road just crying. No one passing by even helped him, and it took over an hour until he was found by another co-worker. It wasn't until the on and off blindness that his mother took him to a doctor, and that is where they discovered his tumor.

The employees at the store helped to pitch in what they could to at least help somewhat with the surgery cost... his mother's insurance just wouldn't cover even close to the whole thing. But the good news is he recovered from the whole thing and is living a normal life now. That's one of the great things about living in this day and age. The success rate of operations like this are drastically increasing.

I wish you the best, and have every expectation that you'll recover just like this person did... I've had my fair share of surgeries in my life so far, and while they pale in comparison to what you are going through, they still allow you to see how valuable life is and how you should be thankful for every second you walk on this planet.

That is what im worried about is being able to pay for stuff, my insurance sucks, but my disablity pay sucks more I plan on making a recovery but i know that i will atleast be totally deaf in my left ear, and will have some paralysis. The surgeon said where the tumor is and how its grown around things my hearing is not going to happen period. I asked the gas station i always go to, and the hair cut shop ive went to for like 13 years if they would put a donation jar up to help me out so i have my fingers crossed on that, although i know it wont be much but if it pays for a utility bill or something? it's that much less i have to worry about. Luckily ive been working 10 hour days and getting to work 7 days a week so i will have a small stash to work with.

do you still have the spacer? Is it in good condition?

Please PM me your paypal address. I'll take it for $500 shipped. I know it's not much compared to your medical bills, but every little bit helps I hope.

Alex

Man.. I dunno what to say... I wish the best for you Adam.
I'm getting a feeling that you'll pull through this with no problem. However you came to decide your ID, idwin, maybe it had a true meaning behind it.
Have faith and be strong man. You'd win!

Adam,
I'll ask around in Vegas and see if I can find someone who wants the Borla.
Also, let me know how much you want for the engine dampner.

yes, but i was wondering if you had a CT scan first... i've always been curious as to whether or not they'd show a tumor or if it takes an MRI to do so... i've had CTs done of my head due to sinus trouble... i'm hoping they didn't miss a tumor...
