a oilrig blew out yesterday they hit a gas pocket and couldn't close the blow out preventors in time it was still on fire this morning..

all the peeps coming down tomo from the west look for alt routes..plan to leave earlier because of traffic..but its also sat so hopefully traffic wont be so bad

Yeah u have to take I-49 north at lafayette and go way around. Adds like a hr to a hr and half depending on traffic.

I meant that it won't really cut out that much time going through baton rouge. It only took her 4 1/2 hours to get home from Houma. Which would be about 5 1/2 hours to New Orleans. That's about what it takes going the other way through Baton Rouge.

it took me 4 n half hours to get from houma to my house. same amount of time to get from my house to metairie.
