The Kansas City Region of the SCCA announces the Kansas Rally Weekend Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11. There is a new twist to this event so please read on.
Part 1, Saturday, consists of a TSD (Time/Speed/Distance) that will be conducted on paved roads in Leavenworth and Jefferson counties Kansas. (Northeast Kansas)
Part 2, Sunday, will also be a TSD rally HOWEVER this will be held on high quality unpaved roads.
TSD rallys are a test to see how well driver and navigator can follow precise instructions with specified average speeds and the ability to arrive at unknown checkpoint locations on time, neither early nor late.
Entry fee is $20 per vehicle. You do NOT have to be a member of the SCCA to participate. You do NOT have to drive a "sports car" to participate. Since Part 2 is on a gravel road, you may want to drive you daily driver or borrow your wife's car.

I have received the info re. meeting place and times for this weekends Rallys.
Rally 1- Saturday. Meet at the Sears Grand parking lot at 87th & Maur in Lenexa. This is right at 87th & I-435.
Registration opens at noon. First car leaves at 1:01p.m.
This Rally is on paved roads.

Rally 2. Sunday. Meet at the Grant Township Communty Club at 1853 E. 1600 Road in Lawrence, KS. Registration opens at 9 a.m. First car leaves at 10:01 a.m.
This Rally is on mostly unpaved roads.

Cost is $20 per Rally.
