ok my 4.083 gears are on the way. haha of course after i order them i get a offer from someone for a set a lot cheaper.

 

What the? I thought you said the 4.083 gears wouldn't work for you?

 

i bought a differntial from a 240sx that will not work. i ordered the right ones from adam@z1. these better work or im gonna be upset.

 

i'm so broke right now its not even funny....

 

We are leaving thursday morning. Possibly wed night but I doubt it.

Just so y'all know, I got hit with a $1000 termite bill yesterday on the house that I'm selling Thursday morning. That is almost double what I had budgeted for Zdayz. I tried to figure it out (mostly out of desperation, not out of logic), but I can't convince myself to spend the money for Zdayz when I've got other, much more important financial responsibilities to take care of at home.

I'm so depressed about this it makes me sick. I was so looking forward to being able to drive my car on the Dragon this year and meet my friends from Arkansas and others I met last year.

Oh well, there's always next year. And, hopefully, my car will be much better prepped by then.

I'm going to crawl up in bed and cry. Again.

 

darren i know how you feel man. it bummed me out also. i was really looking foward to it. but it just wasn't in the cards again this year. but at least next year i will have more money in the bank and pay for my own room in full.

like 420 bucks. but now im pissed also adam told me thursday or friday before my gears would be here and ups is now telling me monday which has me pissed i would of paid for over night shipping had he told me that. i have gotten shi t quicker from cali so idk why this will be taking 5 days from new york which is closer

yeah normally north to south is quicker than east to west.

and why did it say that 3.93 gears were like $1000?

 

yeah he said 420 bucks and josh you looked at the nismo gears or the 350z evo gears if they were listed for that much. or you looked at it with both kits

lol 3.91 to 4.083 dont seem that much of a difference, and from what ive read in the 4.083 gear thread, at 80mph ur rpm is around 3300, and roughly an increase in 300rpm everywhere IIRC

 

that isnt to bad. i thought it was worse
