yeah your just taking off like you normally would, and shift at your normal shift point but you just kick the clutch and shift at the same time with some urgency. it'll be jolty, but it wont hurt anything unless you miss a gear or feather the clutch to hard.

you dont have to hit redline to have fun in the car, if i have fun in town in my car i just get on it at 3/4 throttle and shift at around 4k. that way im not flying through town
