mark - i picked up a set of 08 head lights for 600 and he had one tail light that he sold to me for 100 bucks...so now im looking for a passanger side tail light lol

 

I figured so. I'm closer to the MS Gulf Coast than I am to McComb. I can be in Biloxi in about an hour and 45 minutes. Anyway, sorry to bomb your thread...was just curious.

 

you should make a trip down here, i go to pcola alot during the summer...wish there was some z/g meets on the coast id love to see your z..seems like u have a really nice setup

I work at a Hotel and Here is what I have been thinking to get a pretty good meet going:
THE HOTEL IS RIGHT ACROSS THE BEACH and there is plenty of parking for the meet to happen.


Setting up a Date - (weekend) - Book a room at the hotel i work at (group rate of course ) Thinking it could be a whole weekend event. OR just Stay the saturday night check out sunday and read the rest.

Day 1:
1. Check in 3pm / prior get settled in room etc.
2. Meet up in the conference room at hotel 5pm ( chips, sodas, etc, maybe some stickers for the meet depending on the name of the meet. 1st annual etc) Hand out itineraries for the rest of the day and tomo.
3. Cruise / Dinner 5:30 / 6pm start - Hooters or whoever I can get a deal with for parking etc. (take pics and eat this should take a good 2 hrs minimum im guessing)

4. After we are done eating Go to the GUlfport Drag strip, Who ever wants to get a few runs in and watch we can go for a few hrs. More specific if we actually do this.
5. Cruise back to hotel. Depending on the day, there are usually mini meets going on and we can cruise around / take some pics of all the cars. And then call it a night.

DAY 2 -
1. Check out 11am
2. Meeting at 1130 or 12. to make sure everyone can be there lol. Discuss the road to take a "spirited drive" pics and cruise
3. Lunch at the Shed bbq? and a few more pics after the drive

Whats your take on this locals
People from Lousiana - Mississippi - Alabama Mainly the gulf coast!

I wouldnt mind trying to get a few raffle prizes and such also, but Im not too sure how thats gonna go about.

A few questions -
1. Would yall make the drive to attend this event?
2. Everyone attending would you care / mind to chip in $5 or 10$ a person to cover sodas for the meet, and or a few prizes IF there are enough people attending - Prizes could range from shift ***** etc
3. Would you stay the night?
4. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If there is anything to add or comments to be made, let me know whats your take.

911turbo... We have quite a few regulars that attend alot of meets around here and i know that a few of us would attend and we may even get a good bit of 370s and few g35's. maybe even 300's.

i think the coast needs to throw a yearly meet somthing similar to lakefront, its just hard finding people that will set aside 1 day a year and put a mark on the gulf coast...and not have riced out civics and whatnot...
