I moved to Jackson MS, about 3 months ago and I've seen many Z around. I've looking for some kind of community or event but I haven't be able to find any; so I'm thinking to take my spare time and get something up and running.

I'm planning to get a website up and trying to start setting up the "community", maybe monthly meeting, races event, sound competitions, trip to the coast.

also a local marketplace which make easy to buy and sale stuff.

Looking for people interested on the project and some support to start up.
Web designer, forums Moderators, event planners and people with local knowledge are welcome.

I just took a job offer in Jackson and will be up there in a week. Im from New Orleans and would interested in joining a community.

 

It was the closest I found to be a Community however most of the people there is from the Coast.

I'm exited to see some people interested on the idea. I'm going to put some stuff together and PM you the info so maybe we can agree on an start up.

I think ya'll should have a centralized MS group.

We have people from Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans that are all part of the NOLAZCC crew. Ya'll should probably do something like that so ya'll aren't all divided up.

Just throwing that out there.

Almost forgot, Dustin out in Houma represents too! lol.

 

The only reason that I am introducing the idea of a Central MS Club si Because most of the other activities of other "Local" Clubs are in the coast or very very North.

All of them imply 3 - 5 hour driving.

If we kick off a Local Jackson and metro area we can get together more casually and do small social event on local bars and stuff.

anyway anyone is welcome to participate, if they rather stick with other clubs is also fine. we will join then anyway once in a while.

 

I hear you on the local thing. I live an hour away from the rest of our crew. The scene sucks where I live.
