today sometime.. $200 for springs (everything I read on the web said to do both, the snapping of one is likely to have weakened the other anyway). no warranty on springs with anyone in town -well, the legit places. I'm gonna play it cool and let them make their service call, cause really they quoted me the best deal to fix and quickest time.. but I'm gonna raise hell about 26 month old springs breaking like that. I paid $1300 for that door.

but holy hell that would have destroyed my car if I had been impatient. Glad it was me, Debby tends to go in as fast as she can. I mean, she's hit her antenna before on the PF.

yeah.. gotta a call into the GM of Royal Door. The tech admitted the springs were probably undersized. I had to pay anyway, the tech couldnt do **** about the price. But was willing to make my case with Royal when he got back. We'll see. On the upside, he tuned up everything. Its super quiet and smooth again.

yeah, sorry for the delays.. the #1 PC had HUGE heat sink/fans.. it was a silent PC.. when I went to ship it, I realized the fans were too heavy and would break loose, so i had to pull it all apart and it took another day or two to find ways to secure everything.

I found everything we need, i hope. I even have a camera that seems to be working ok. Not sure why I'm not using it.. But, I checked it out and its working fine. We can use it to start with. You might need more IR illumination or a different focal length, so its good to try this one out anyway. If everything I have here works, including the 60G HD I scared up, I dont see why it wont be working by the weekend. I wanna shoot some **** anyway, not work on a PC I have motivation to be done with it.

I want to look at gun safes, check out motorcycle helmets, possibly install surveilance stuff? I wouldnt think it would take but a few hours to hook up the security stuff? running wiring is going to be the *****!

 

also depends on your network, it needs net access to send email and remote view. I'm not really worried about it.
