That's right. I forgot w/ my old white one and this black one they lay down color, pearl, flake, then clear it.
Guess I'll just be ordering a z emblem and painting it black myself. Far cheaper.

just paint the emblem yourself, i did one for steve and it came out great. Sand down the chrome as much as possible, wash it soap and water, wipe down with alcohol, the use paint made for plastics and give it a light coat(tack coat) then come back over a time or so again heavier until it's covered.

That will most likely be the route I go.

they said they would have to weld the two little holes shut and smooth it out. i didnt think it was bad either considering they could match the paint on the rest of the car and the entire hatch would be painted. plus they guarenteed me a two day turn around.

Yea, that's an incredible deal in my opinion. Ask them if they will or even know how to blend.

On a lighter note I saw him not too long ago. Haven't talked to him since. He's probably just busy I presume.
I want him to give me those stock nismo wheels yesterday, so when you talk to him please advise him.

I would assume it wasn't, that comment was made over a week ago... we've all be wondering and no answer. I'd go with no. But I have no way of really knowing, other than you'd think somebody would know by now.

it's called a crush washer. The dealer has them, they cost a dime, but the local nissan stealerships want a quarter or more. If are you using less than 30ft lbs of torque, you can get 5-6 changes before even having to worry about replacing it.

I read the ones at autozone and the like fail.

Yea, I don't go past 25lb ft of tq on the plug. Thanks for the help Tim!

I found this http://www.courtesyparts.com/11128a-...8-p-15263.html but couldn't believe how expensive 1 was.
