I'm posting the bulletin I posted on Myspace yesterday FYI.
Today at 2:30pm, ArkansasBusiness. com announced the sale of my company Continental Express Inc. to competitor Celadon Group.
I won't discuss the particulars of this as I have not had the opportunity to meet with new ownership but it is safe to say that at this current point in time I am without employment.
I was the Director of Pricing and Traffic for a $100 million annual revenue full truckload company with over 10 years experience in transportation operations management and APICS type analysis. I was asked 2 months ago to step over to sales and shore up our most difficult territory in Texas and made great strides working on the road every other week. I hold a B.A. in International Marketing from UCA and have tangible experience in the technical field.
I am NOT locked into working in the Transportation industry and consider myself a "can-do anything" individual.
If you know of any job leads, please pass them along. If I'm not the right individual for the job, there are hundreds of people I can refer.

Hey David, thanks for the invite notice and being so nice this afternoon!
Guys I had a blast out at War Memorial today, Nelson the Regional Executive was great, let me ride shotgun with his wife in their 91 MR2 and again with him (fastest lap!).
Then David was nice enough to let me ride in his Z... I got enough of spectating and tried it out with David riding shotgun. I don't remember how many cones I hit and I never did get that ending blip corner but I had a blast doing it. My driving style didn't jive with the course. I am really aggressive with throttle differences because of my bad habit of playing with oversteer on that open diff.
DavidB is a really good driver and I trusted him with my car so he could give me an idea of comparisons. I was driving home and realized he lapped in 47.03 seconds with a passenger, my subs, amp, spare tire and all my other crap on street tires on his first time driving the car so that must say a lot for my setup. (excluding the open diff)
I'll be back to the next one (Tire-God willing) and you guys should too... if you don't make the instructional runs, you're either an ******* or an idiot!

just a FYI....if your car had slicks...it would have had the fastest time of the day...I'm certain.
And for your first time on the course, you did good..really good. If I were you I would run the novis class next year...I think you would have a good chance. We also have rookie of the year award...so that might be something to think about

oh yeah I forgot to add...if your not hitting cones, your not getting close enough
or at least that's what I say LOL... At least your attacking the course...most first timers don't do that...so good job again
