Default Midwest Z Fest Pics

WOW, what an event! The track event featured over 30 vehicles including numerous Z's, G's, a GTR and a couple Ariel Atoms.

The car show included 57 vehicles and I took 1st in the 350z Stock Class

The awards banquet was a blast and a ton of prizes were given away.

The late night drag strip event was delayed a little by rain but it went off without a hitch, just a little late.

On sunday about 20 cars took a scenic cruize into NE Oklahoma and toured a couple wineries which was a perfect conclusion to a great weekend.

I'd like to add that there were more than 57 Z's in attendance at MZF. Many stayed back at the hotel due to the owners were too hung over from the night before to clean their cars, etc. OR they were working on an attendees Z which developed problems at Hallett OR they choose not to participate in car shows for whatever reason.
The star of the weekend was a 30 day old GT-R which participated at track day at Hallett and participated drag night. He even let a few people drive the car!! Rumor has it he may be looking for a second GT-R to be dedicated to racing.
Great weekend!!

I was hung over and managed to make it to the car show.

The event was a blast and I would estimate over 125 individuals registered for the event and there was something for everyone. Including a bunch of charred burgers on Friday night.

It was one hell of an event, one exhausting weekend. I think we may have had TOO much going on as I was dead beat by sunday and didnt make either of sunday's events after staying at the strip until 4am saturday night.
