Default Collision Depot @ Gautier, MS

also, not to offend any of you who are friends w/ Bryan at collision Depot, but when i arrived to his shop to pick up my car today, he failed to repaint my bumper. He said he had some gesture or whatever come by to see if it was under warrantee and they said all of the damage "appears" to be due to the bumper or rock chips. I still to this day do not believe any of his words and i call BS on everything. I'm sure that Bryan knew that this was coming and he probably planned this all out and i would not be surprised. I'm not going to pretend that i am okay with it, although it was nice of him to wash my car inside and out but that does not change the fact that he said his paint was under warrantee to me. If he would had notified me before i had my bumper painted, i would never had gone to him.

So i would like to share my experience with Collision Depot with you guys. If you have fiberglass bumper DO NOT GO TO THEM!!! I REPEAT...DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!. They do not have warrantee on fiberglass and they will not tell you until their job is done and they have your money. for some apparent reason, all fiberglass painted by them cracks. =\. That is the last time i'm going to get my body work done by them and none of my referrals will go back to them.

I will warn all my buddies and all the people i know in in the coast to stay away from a business that does not keep their words. I will like you all to do the same as well b/c i will not like any of you to get screwed over yourselves.

thanks for reading.

Default Collision Depot

to the user with the warranty issue. I'm not sure of your circumstances but i have been a customer of collision depots since they opened in 2006. They have painted several cars for me. from my honda crv, my wifes toyota tacoma my pontiac gto, all were insurance wrecks. They did quality repairs better than i have had with previous shops in the past in the local area. there customer service was incredible compared to most any other business i have dealt with. I also have had custom cars throughout the years with fiberglass body kits including my current 350z that collision depot did a custom allover paint job on. I am extremely impressed with their business, workmanship and quality of the job. I have noticed over the years (I am 45) that quality of the part has alot to do with quality of the paint job. Poor quality fiberglass parts are more prone to damage. e.g a fiberglass bumper that was bought on lets say ebay. Everyone knows $200 ebay bumpers don't fit, don't last and are more trouble than they are worth. Fiberglass doesn't flex either compared to urethane bumpers. A stock bumper made of urethane will not crack from vibration like a fiberglass bumper can and sometimes does. Especially if said bumper has to be forced to fit. Just wanted to say, we shouldn't talk so badly about things we've had a bad experience with. Maybe your bumper was faulty. Maybe they were to blame. Who really knows. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean that there business is terrible. I recommend collision depot to all of my friends and family. they have been honest with me, taken care of my every need and i am sure they will continue to do so in the future.
