Is there any interest in a Z-specific tuning shop in Oklahoma?
As most of you well know, we here in OK are pretty far from any type of decent Z tuning shop. Whenever I built my TT 350Z back in 2005, I had to literally outsource EVERYTHING. I'm starting this thread to gauge interest and to seek opinions about opening a performance shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I will specialize in the 350/370Z, G35/G37, and Nissan Titan.
This will be the real deal...twin turbo installs, engine builds, load-based dyno tuning, brakes, suspension....the works.

I'm very interested, here in the next year or two so I want to swap my VQ with the VK56 and nowhere around here would be willing to take on the task
Plus I know alot of fellow military members would be super interested in that as well

Norman. So Tulsa isn't too far. Only other place I know of that does tuning is Eurosport in Norman, and everyone says they're SUPER high, so I haven't been. It'd be awesome to have a place specifically for Nissan's!

You might also ask on www.okzcc.com - Oklahoma Z Car Club. They have a chapter in Tulsa and OKC.
By opening a shop n Tulsa you could also draw from NW Arkansas, SW Missouri, and SE Kansas.

man a shop would def be awesome .. it would just be hard because it seems like the importers around her don't wanna pay for what things are worth lol !! there's been countless import shops opened and closed (Trizone, Arise, Top End) to name a few .. i believe they all made enough money to survive but not enough to make a profit and if there was a profit it wasn't enough to support them and there shop without having a side job ! don't get me wrong a Nissan shop would def be awesome but with you wanting to put it in Tulsa you would also have to compete with Humble Performance which has def capitalized the import scene in Tulsa
Didn't really want to rain on your parade, i just didn't wanna see money go to waste
Lastly if you did open up a shop i would defiantly stop by and shoot the breeze when i was there in Tulsa lol

Well that shows how muchi know about them, lol. But honestly every time i drive by there, all I see are honda civics with the hoods off. But good for them, glad they are doing so well.

Haha it's all good !! The only reason I know is because my civic was one of those civics in there with the hood off !! But to be honest most of there customers are civics Hondas and 240's .. A G/Z specfic shop would be really cool

I think you are talking about Synergy. They have two Atom's, a GT-R, plenty of bikes, and more. They had the Atom's at Hallett last time we went. Very nice guy that owns the place.

As soon as the shop gets well established, we will be expanding to an AWD Dyno Dynamics dyno, and will be taking care of the GT-R, Evo, and STi crowd as well

Synergy's NSX was actually stolen from the Tulsa Cinemark parking lot a few years ago (behind Cheddar's on 169 and 71st). As far as I know it was never recovered. I've spoken to the owner about doing a group dyno session there, I need to get that set up as soon as the weather cools off.
