They need a good powdercoat which anyone can do for 200 bucks.

But its 18x9.5 +22 with 245/40/18 and 265/35/18.
Just paid 400 bucks for the 265 size a few months back because I had to go somewhere immediately and my previous tires were done.. then I got the Volks in and havent rode on them since.

I have brand new 245/45/18's on the back of mine, and 225/45/18's on the front that were on it when I bought it june 26, 2008. Had to replace the rears because they looked like this.

As you can see, they were starting to split across the tread and I couldn't go 45 in neutral in the rain without floating so I figured it was time.

Would stock sized tires fit on the white ones? (I've never been into rims that much and my brain isn't functioning at all tonight)

Haha its all good, but yes the 245/45/18 would work I would suspect, but the 225/45/18 would truthfully be a little on the "stretchedddd" craze.

Azn93, what? lol.

Hmmm.

When will you be in town again? I'd like to check em out. I don't like my curb rashed wheels.

And I can get them anodized for free

I thinks Azn is saying he has failsafe performance stickers on his car, but should have washed his car first.

Dont know when I will be in Tulsa again, maybe when the weather warms up a tiny bit.
I can send you close up pics when it stops snowing, but I dont want to haul them if I have to bring them back home

How far out from Tulsa is Okay?

And I was doing the stuff talked about in the VDC thread in the stickies in the tire area and it looks like those wont work for me. .5 too much of a difference. If the rears were 265/40's it would be perfect if my math is right.

Hmmm.... Damn

It looks like I would need to put 265/45/18's on the rear rims to make everything work right.

And my buddy is saying not to go less than 45 on the ratio if I want to keep any kind of ride quality.

Oh wow,
You could mount the 265/35/18 in the front if you are into traction and 265/40/18 in the rear.
I dont have VDC thankfully so I never have to worry about that.
But I am pretty sure 265/40/18 would be the ideal size according to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
Its the closest to stock rear size.

Right now I am 3 hours away, but some weekends I am only 30 min away.

Okay is a town just north of Muskogee.

I still wanna see the rims, if I keep the fronts how they are and change the rears to 265-40-18 it should work fine. Just gotta get the speedo adjusted because it would read a bit fast.

And I already sent in my email to be a volunteer at the drift.
