Everyone else is having meets...why can't we??? I've seen some Z's around wichita and I even post up in ksautoforum, but can't seem to find people dedicated to a meet. So i'm posting up in here in hopes to get a lil more attention. I have a silver Z with a chargespeed type 2 kit gunmetal wheels and cf hr hood.... honk and flip me off when you see me around . As pathetic as it sounds, i drive around a lot and sometimes just in hopes to bump into another Z.

There was a Nissan Club some time ago but I don't know if it's around anymore. To my knowledge I don't think there is a Z specific group.

Just saw this thread, got my Z about a month ago!! I live in wichita as well never seen your Z (which looks awesome btw) I'm totally game for a meet, I hope there are other cool Z owners in town I see them pretty constantly!

What's up guy? Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I'm Patrick and I'm gonna be moving up to Kansas in a few weeks just a little west of Wichita. What kind of meets and events go on up there and do you guys have an autox community of z's and g's? That's lmthe biggest thing I'm gonna miss about down here if you guys don't really do much of that. Anyways, looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

thanks. not quite in wichita but not too far away either. im in a little town called kiowa about an hour and a half or so south west of wichita. kinda sucks here since the roads are all kinda crappy and all straight lines so i havnt been driving the z much

 

Just picked up a 2003 350Z Touring edition this last Saturday. I live in Andover and would be interested in meeting up. Need to do some work on the Z, last owner didn't care too much about the car (rich kid), but it runs well.

I would like to know what everyone does for tires.

 

I use discount tire direct. Since I autox fairly frequently I like to run hankook ventus rs3's. They're a great track tire and fairly inexpensive. I got two 255/40-17's a couple weeks ago for $307 shipped. They are a soft tire compound though so I wouldn't recommend doing a lot of daily driving on them since they will wear out fairly quickly. My last set I used for daily driving and about 5 autox's and one time trial and they barely lasted me 10k miles. Granted some of those autox's and the time trial were in mineral wells Texas which is extremely hard on tires compared to other venues.

big negative on that Shelby, i'm out of the country till early august....wish I could though so I could meet some peoples.
