Missouri I NEED your help
So, planning a family vacation to Branson for my bro's 30th BDAY. Yeah I know, who the **** goes to Branson, right? So this is my point. I am really not feeling the family road trip, so I am taking my Z.
Two things.
One, is there any good roads on the way, fun, scenic, twisties, anything will suffice.
Last, is there anything to do in the area non-country and for those of us under 65 yo.?
Thanks,
Erik

And when in Eureka Springs you should check out the Pig Trail. The Trail has a lot of twisties and is about 20 miles long.

One fun trip is go south out of Branson on 65. Just after you cross into Arkansas you turn east. Eventually you hit Bull Shoals Lake and you take a free ferry across into Missouri. Lot's of great roads.
Lastly, the Harrison, AR. Visitors Bureau(?) has a site/brochure listing great day trips. Harrison is maybe 30-45 minutes down the road from Branson.
BTW, while you're in Branson, if your car has M/T your ledft leg will get a heck of a work out. There are virtually no flat (or straight) roads.
Put Branson Z Fest 2012 on you calendar for next year. We'll personally introduce you to these roads.

Goodluck finding something to do other than eating in Branson.... there is literally close to nothing for the younger crowd unless you venture to Springfield. Although you can usually have a pretty good night down at the Branson landing if you like to drink.
Like everyone else said, tons of roads that are awesome though. Take 76 east and loop around into Arkansas, hit the ferry up, and its a small highway trip back to town.
Also try Hwy 248 west , hit 13 and go south 1/2 mile to get back on 248 and go west again.
I learned how to drive my 6MT in Branson, its not too bad.
