Another dyno by popular demand and this time in cooler weather so we can get some really good numbers

As usual it will be run by Roger Case from Japtrix at the Pettit Racing Dyno in West Palm Beach. 40 bucks for 3 pulls.

How long we will be there will depend on how many cars, last time we did around 20 cars and were done by 3:00 PM and then went to get a bite to eat and hang out.

im in miami is anyone else planning to caravan over there from like tropical park, and also my brother has a lotus esprit stock just wants to know what numbers hes running b4 he mods it can he come or not??

 

Not sure if people will caravan depending on when they can make it.

Your brother is more than welcomed, just hope he wasn't the one I toasted on the Sawgrass Xmas eve

 

nah he doesnt race much its a 2002 lotus esprit 25th anniversary edition, hes gna be modding it alot soon and he wants to know his stock number, so im gna see if he wants to come with us but he doesnt race much except for the track but glad he can come, im excited for this dyno, i just installed my crawford plenum and im installing my topspeed headers on friday

 

westpak do you have the shops number where were going to dyno the cars i have a question for them and i was wondering if you had to number so i could call rightnow

 

I don't have the shop's number where the dyno is at but I do have the number for the shop that is going to run the event for us 561-963-8700 Roger Case.

 

Great idea to do a baseline dyno, not only does it tell you where you are at in power but also makes sure everything is running like it should. I wish I had done a baseline dyno.

im just wondering are we gna sit in the car and drive it on the actual dyno and do it or are theyre people theyre that are gna do it, b/c i dont know what im doing and id rather let someone to make sure i get the full number out of my car have someone else do it

 

Don't worry, Rogger will run all of the cars so no one has to plus it will be good for comparison since one person will run all of the cars.

 

that makes me feel a little better didnt like doing it myself, as easy as everyone says it is i still feel i did it wrong, i hope i can at least get 260 to the wheels lol, still wondering if my brother will be in the 300 to the wheels range

 

You should be with your mods if not 260 pretty close specially with the cool weather. I was a 265 at that dyno with similar mods.

Your brother has 350 at the engine so he should be in the 300+- at the wheels, this is going to be a fun day.

 

Hey Gus, just wondering, i have a buddy (non-z owner) that wants to dyno his car. Is not a Z-exclusive dyno day, is it?

 

It will be mostly Z's but a few none Z's will come, I just didn't want to open it up everywhere and overwhelm the Z's since it is a club event. So he is welcomed, thanks for letting me know.

Who's caravaning (is that even word? ) from Miami?

 

There are a few coming up from there but not sure a caravan has been set up, you might want to start a thread on the club's forum and see.

Maybe I can get a group from Miami ride to Hialeah, depending on how many people are down here, or whatever is more convenient for everyone in Miami.

If they dyno starts at 10pm, i'm assuming we have to leave miami about 8:30 or so? (1.5 hrs to West Palm?)

 

Ok, well, i'm organizing a Miami meet at Tropical Park at 8:00am, same place as usual in the lot facing the Hess gas station. 8:00am means be there BY 8:00am

Jaki and Gators2001 are meeting me there. Anyone else from Miami, be there BY 8:00am. We'll leave at 8:15 and head north.

I need to get the info from Richard to see at what time and where are they leaving from Hialeah, if they want to wait for the Miami leg to ride all together.

I'm sure we can make it to Hialeah in less than 15 minutes from Bird Road going up the Palmetto. So if they plan to leave Hialeah at 8:30am that would work out perfect.
