they use a body shop that is right behind their place. Seems to do good work from what I have seen of customers cars.

quick question.. i have 06 GT ZR and i'm thinking of getting the sway bar and tires. I spent the last couple of days searching but I still can't choose what I want. Anyone have experience with aftermarket sway bar? and I have 06 Grand Touring Wheels on my Z and this place quote me about $1000 for my new tires (F 255/40/18 R 275/35/19) Toyo PROXES T1R.

Do you guys think this is a good deal? or do you guys know any place to get new tires?

Thanks

I never buy new tires, it ends up burning a hole in my pocket... I usually end up going to some tire shops, and they have some tires with 80% for really cheap... The front ones will be easier to find of course

I buy my tires from Forged. May wanna get a quote from them. $1k is not unreasonable, probably average for those tires I think. As far as sways I had Hotchkis on my Z and will be doing the same with my G37. I never really messed with the set up on them though. Forged installed them and I went with Sharif's advice on the setting.

Damn... Im sorry T but Iraq does change some people. I have a friend that has been in two tours and I swear I don't even know who he is anymore and we used to be basically the same person. Some people can't hold up mentally and just break which is understandable. All you can do now is write him and let him know your there for him so he doesn't do anything worse.

If you need anything man I am here for you.

Damn T that sucks. This is one of the main reasons I feel our troops need more help trying to adjust to a normal life after they come back from a tour. Maybe one day our government will see this and try to get a fix for it.

Thanks guys it just really sucks... i know what you mean Alex. He was like my twin dude. He came back like an empty ghost. Im not going to go into detail out of respct for the military, but some of the stories he told me makes understand his mental condition even more. as for the government fixing this? i lost my grandfather (locked up since 84) and my grandmother, who was killed by my grandfather in 84 to this syndrome. he fought in korean war and vietnam. theres really no fixing it dude as long as people declare war there will aways be young men and women being severely damaged mentally/physically. Hats off to Tim, i dont know how you do it bro. Just fyi my bro was a corpsman for the marines/navy

Some people just have issues coping with the stress associated with the job. It's tough to see people killed, especially your friends. I have lost one person so far and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and the incident. iwear a bracelet on my arm all the time so that I never forget. You kinda just have to compartmentalize your memories and realize how blessed you are. 2 months down now and about 10 to go for us on this tour. So far just one casualty from our company. He is making a good recovery at Walter Reed now. I had a dismounted IED go off the other day less than 50 meters from me and my guys, thankfully everybody walked away.
