Default Raleigh, NC shops

Hi folks. I live in the Raleigh, NC area and I am looking for a shop that does engine work that has a very good reputation. Basically I just want to get my car up to around 300hp to the wheels. I am very worried I will take it to a shop and they will just mess the car up. Do you guys know of any reliable places in the area? Thanks in advance for any feedback!!

You can PM mhoward1, I know he's in the Triangle Z club and could point you in the right direction.

Edit-If you want to travel some, you could PM Sharif. He's in Charlotte and would look out after you.

Sorry I missed this the first time around. We have a few good shops around here and a Couple to avoid like the Plague. We also have some great knowledge in the club itself.

One place great for Dyno Tuning is Carolina Automasters. While they do mostly American Muscle (Same people who had the 9 second Camaro on PINKS), they have been known to put a mean tune on a lot of FI cars, like Brian Smith's Supra (Turbo Magazines 9 Second Supra), Chris Daniel's RX7 (Octane Feature car from March), and a few others.

Check out our site at www.triangleZclub.com, and I can PM you on the shops to avoid.
