Hey fellow members, well i'm taking the gf away for the week starting tomorrow. We'll be staying @ my family's condo in the Boca Teeca area, i think. I've only been there once so only thing i could remember is that it is literally 5-10 min from Delray Beach. Any suggestions where else i could take her out and chill? also what about a nice lounge/club in Miami? all suggestions starting with the local spots are definitely appreciated guys. thanks in advance.

South Beach

 

In Delray you can take Atlantic east to the beach, there are quite a few places to eat and drink. I have a lot of friends head up there to go out on the weekends.

From Boca/Delray - 15-20 min south on I-95 you can hit Ft Lauderdale. Exit on Broward Blvd going east to 2nd St (right before railroad tracks), hang a right and you are in the middle of the downtown/bar district. One exit north of Broward is Sunrise, take that to the beach (A1A) and hang a right and you will find smaller beach bars/clubs, and another mile or two down you'll hit beachplace (where spring break started).

South Beach is another 25-35 min south of Ft Laud, depending on traffic.

Riverfront in Ft. Lauderdale, like a whole block of clubs/bars. Not sure if your into that but i'd also recommend Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, that place is also pretty wild on the weekends. More clubs/bars/gambling ect.

im in delray, you are very close. i highly reccomend atlantic avenue. its a pretty chill place with very good restraunts and nice bars/clubs. crowd can range from 21-50 haha, but its fun. good place to go on a friday night. you can also take atlantic ave to the beach/a1a and there are some good restraunts right there and some have live music. pm me if you have any questions since its my neck of the woods.
